As you know, we have been awarded the contract to upgrade the controls and drives of the La Pinière water treatment plant. This contract involves renewing various drives from 2 HP to 100 Hp, several PLCs or main control panels. As well as the management of all the control stages of the state of the art operator system, including modern communication gateways for all systems.

We work with our subcontractor (Techno-Contact) who provides the supply of frequency inverters, PLCs and control management panels. We have also retained the services of (PCI Automation) who have as mandate to program of the operator systems and communication gateways. Our third partner is (Zigue) in telecommunication, who will perform the merging and various tests on the optical cables.

The project is currently 40% completed and should be finished in July 2022. Our superintendent Sébastien Daigle, on the other hand, is in charge of securing subcontractors and the City of Laval’s stakeholders, coordinating the installation of all the cabling, conducting the installation of the new systems and dismantling old equipment once the new ones are put into service.
