DAWCO performed mechanical, piping, electrical & instrumentation works for the Montreal Terminal Dust Collection, Transport & Storage System.

 

More specifically, works included:

 

  • Changes to the support steel for the dust collector and modification of the existing duct.
  • Changes to the structural brackets.
  • Replacement of the dust collector fan motor electrical system.
  • Installation of supplied head pulley belt scrapers and side doors.
  • Installation of larger bolted explosion vents on the dust bin.
