DAWCO has built a solid reputation in the petrochemical, oil and gas industry by actively participating in a variety of large-scale projects. Our commitment to quality and sustainability is reflected in our involvement in initiatives including advanced biofuel, high value-added chemicals and renewable energy sources.

Significant achievements :

In recent years, DAWCO has played a crucial role in the completion of numerous petrochemical plant construction and maintenance projects. These projects have included the implementation of clean technologies, the development of sorted municipal solid waste (MSW) processing plants, as well as the construction of advanced biofuel facilities, including biomethanol and ethanol.
Canaport LNG in Saint John, New Brunswick: DAWCO was involved in the construction of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant. The mandate consisted of the installation of over 28,000 feet of stainless steel piping, of which a significant amount of welding had to be carried out using cryogenically classified procedures. DAWCO also completed the electrical work for the addition of two BOG compressors, which are evaporative gas recovery systems. LNG is considered a clean energy resource thanks to its low CO2 content.
Lachenaie gas compressor station: DAWCO was involved in the original construction of this station, including mechanical, piping and electrical aspects, from the design to the prefabrication and installation of prefabricated substations (E-House), as well as mechanical and process piping installation. A few years later, TCE proceeded to expand the plant’s capacity, and DAWCO contributed by carrying out the electrical, mechanical and piping work involved in adding two compressors to the plant.

Our skills cover a wide range of expertise, from process mechanics to piping, electricity, instrumentation and control. We have also completed various instrumentation and start-up projects for thermal power plants, design, prefabrication, construction and commissioning projects for waste treatment facilities, and much more.
